Our Community Halls
Due to the current situation with Covid-19, Thenue Communities has made the decision to close Calton Heritage & Learning Centre and Netherholm Community Hall. However, our staff are still doing all they can to support our residents. In Netherholm, we are working with local volunteers to develop a food delivery system and in Calton, we are collecting shopping and prescriptions for our most vulnerable residents. If you require any support that you think we can help with, please call Ross and Rosie on 0141 550 9573 anytime and if we can’t answer just leave a message and we’ll get back to you or you can text 07816 330 897 or email Rosemary.Robertson@thenuecommunities.co.uk. From Monday the 30th March until further notice, our grounds maintenance contractor idverde has suspended their services due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in line with advice from the UK and Scottish Governments. The contractor made this difficult decision in line with current Government guidance to safeguard the safety and wellbeing of their staff, our customers and the public. Thanks for taking the time to visit us to see what’s happening. Things have moved on since our last update on 24 March 2020. We’re not repeating everything that has appeared here previously, so here is the latest news.We’re still open - it’s just our London Road office that’s closed. Manage your tenancy at the touch of a button, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week! Do that through our mobile self-service app. Alternatively you can either e-mail or phone directly any of our staff. All our contact details are listed in the ‘about’ section of our web site under ‘our staff’. Unlike the app, they don’t work 24 hours a day, so please be patient. Please avoid posting letters to us in the meantime as it will take longer than normal for us to reply. Unsure who at Thenue to contact? Close cleaning services
From today until further notice, our close cleaning contractor CAS has suspended their services due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in line with advice from the UK and Scottish Governments. The decision was not taken lightly however the works are not currently seen to be essential and CAS made this decision to safeguard the safety and wellbeing of their staff, our customers and the public. A Fitting End To The 40th Year
More new homes for Glasgow’s east end are under way as our 40th anniversary year draws to a close.Seventy seven properties are being built in Calton – described this week as a “fitting climax” to a year of celebration for Thenue.

Our Happy Anniversary Homes!
Housing Minister Kevin Stewart has officially opened our new development of 49 homes costing £9.3 million in the east end on the same day we are 40 years old .A centrepiece of the development has been the restoration of the “listed” and iconic former Monteith Hotel – once an impressive city mansion built in 1823.

28 Years Later - Thank You!
Earlier this summer Thenue announced the pending retiral of Beth Reilly, Head of Property Services, who had been with us for 28 years. Attending her very last meeting of the Board of Management, Beth was presented with an oil painting depicting a scene from Colonsay, a place where Beth and her family have spent many a happy summer holiday.
