Thenue Communities
Thenue Communities is a charitable subsidiary of Thenue Housing Association, and has been working to tackle social disadvantage through the management of two community facilities. It has been operating since the opening of Calton Heritage & Learning Centre on 1st November 2013. The 1st November is a special date for us because at about 5.15pm that evening in 1889, unusually high winds caused a large section of the new western extension of James Templeton’s carpet factory to collapse into the adjoining weaving shed. The new Freephone number is 0800-328-9344 available Monday to Friday 8am to 6pmAll DWP customer 0345 numbers are being replaced with new Freephone numbers.
• The changes will begin with Universal Credit lines, which will begin from today
• This will then extend to other numbers, with the process due to be completed by the end of the calendar year.
We will publish the new numbers as soon as they become available
Working Together to Build Bright Futures
Opportunities for jobless people to learn new skills have been given a £5000 boost from generous construction firm Cruden Building.It has dug deep to deliver the cash injection to assist Thenue and Glasgow Kelvin College who work together to help unemployed people.
This week Cruden Building handed over a cheque which will now be used to fund Thenue Housing’s award-winning Learning Works initiative.

Thumbs up for Thenue!
We have been given a significant endorsement by our tenants in a wide-ranging opinion survey.The sparkling set of results - with most approval ratings at 90 per cent or above - confirm the Association remains highly regarded by the people we serve.
The survey carried out by a research company with 1,123 tenants, found that a massive 92 per cent of people said they were very satisfied or fairly satisfied with the service we provide.
