Annual Gas Safety Checks

City Technical Services(CTS) have continued to carry out the Annual Gas Servicing – which is a legal requirement (Annual Gas Safety Check (Gas Safety (Installation And Use) Regulations 1998) to ensure the safety of our residents while Staying Safe at Home

We confirm that we have complied with the Government’s Guidance on managing the risk of Covid – 19

These steps are carried out prior to attending your home, in addition each engineer will be wearing appropriate PPE:
• Face mask
• Gloves
• Coveralls
• Face Shield – Resident identified as high risk / or if requested
They will also clean surfaces that they have to touch in the process of carrying out the service, such as door handles, cupboard handles and the boiler casing.
We would ask where possible that you stay in another room while the engineer completes this important check - this will facilitate social distancing for both you and the engineer, we would ask that you always keep a minimum distance of 2M.
We understand that these are difficult times and the priority is to keep everyone safe and well. By putting these procedures in place CTS can continue to carry out essential works to ensure that your boiler is safe and in good working order.
If your gas check is due or if Thenue/CTS have contacted you to make an appointment and you have been unable to give access due to Covid – 19, please get in contact with us urgently and we can make arrangements to visit on a date and time that is suitable to you. We can discuss PPE requirements and we can also offer weekend or evening appointments, if this is the only option available to you, due to work commitments.
