Working closely with Thenue and another local housing provider, Glasgow City Council have a week of action planned in parts of Cranhill from Monday 28th November. During this week the council and various partner agencies plan to tackle dog fouling, clear weeds, cut back shrubbery on public land, sweep streets, repair street-lights, refresh road markings, tackle fly-tipping and remove graffiti.
A community litter-pick by Cranhill Development Trust and the Council's Clean Glasgow team is also scheduled for Thursday December 1. Anyone keen to take part should meet in the Trust's car park in Bellrock Street at 10.30am that morning. Weather permitting, the litter pick will finish around noon.
