...Truth be told we never went away!

As lockdown eases we’re pleased to announce that we are preparing to re-open our office at 423 London Road. It’s clear that Covid-19 has not gone away, and we need to reduce the risk of transmission as much as possible.

Our target date for reopening our office is 14 September we will at all times ensure that we follow Government guidelines so this may change. This is a new way of working for all of us so thank you for your patience over the last few months and going forward, as we adjust to carrying out some of our services in a different way.

Initially, we will be operating an appointment only system for office visits, though it is important to note that telephone calls, emails and virtual meetings will still be our preferred method, and the best way of contacting us for an immediate response. If you do need to attend the office, you can book online via our website or by contacting the person that you wish to meet, (a full list is available on the ‘Our Staff’ section of our website). Please do not visit the office unless you have an appointment. We are also planning to open our community centres (Calton Heritage and Learning Centre and Netherholm Community Hall) from 14 September 2020. All of the changes and how to be assured of our best service at all times is detailed in our autumn newsletter. Please take the time to be familiar with this before your visit. Also the ‘Five ways to safe working’ video is a useful summary.
