Important Update For Our Customers - Tuesday Afternoon 3rd August

Last updated: 9.56am, Wednesday 4th August 2021 by

Following the announcement by the Scottish Government today of a further lifting of restrictions, this important update sets out what will happen next.

We are pleased to tell you that we will be re-opening our office at London Road during the morning of Monday 23rd August having implemented a series of measures designed to keep you and our staff safe at all times.

Staff will begin to return to the office from next Monday 9th August and until 23rd August you should continue to contact us in the same ways as you have been doing. Please note while staff will be in the office, we will not re-open to visitors until the 23rd.

As always, our phone lines remain operational, you can contact us through our App or by using the contact form on our website www.thenuehousing.co.uk

We recognise how difficult these last 18 months – and yes, it is that long - have been for so many of you. Your patience, fortitude and willingness to help your neighbours and others in our communities along with support for your housing association have been an inspiration to us all in the Thenue family.

For those of you who do come to visit us, you will notice some changes to the office. Screens have been installed along with sanitation points. It is important that you not only ARE safe but FEEL safe. Safety first is our overwhelming priority.

Open re-opening, on 23 August, so that we can manage visitor numbers with what will be a restricted staff presence, all face-to-face visits initially to our office will be via appointment, (which nearer the time you can book online or just phone us).

Both our Community Centres, (Calton Heritage & Learning Centre and Netherholm Community Hall), are also pleased to be able to re-open in line with Scottish Government Covid 19 guiding principles and subject to appropriate risk assessments, (based on the potential users). Physical distancing and hygiene measures are both in place and people using the centres will either be required to wear a face covering (unless exempt) when moving around the Centres and or not seated.

Full details of all the measures we will have in place and how to make the most of your housing services here at Thenue will be covered in our next newsletter, which will be circulated and put on-line, during the week before our re-opening.

Stay safe, protect others and save lives.
